Steve started his career in transportation engineering and construction, where he managed the schedules and budgets of over $3.0 billion worth of construction. He turned his attention to information systems to manage the development of an innovative construction cost and schedule control system and several other commercially successful packages. Over the last ten years Steve has managed the design and change management process associated with a wide variety of information system focused business reengineering programs. Steve currently teaches strategic management, information systems Project Management, operations management, and introductory and advanced courses in software engineering and knowledge management at several New England colleges. He also develops industry courseware and internet based distance education programs in these fields.

Stephen is a senior management consultant with over 25 years of business experience. He has first hand experience implementing a broad spectrum of small and large organizational improvement projects. James M. Milliken, PMP

James was a newspaper editor and manager for nearly 30 years before opening his training business in 1986. That first career included two weeks at the Press Herald and nine years at the Kennebec Journal in Augusta. He provides workplace-based skills workshops and consultation to organizations in business and other fields throughout New England and at the University of Southern Maine. James offers customized training in three related areas: Communication Curriculum, Workplace Workshops and Project Management. The Communication Curriculum covers Business Writing, Advertising and Newsletter Editing as well as personal skills such as Workplace Communication and Negotiating. The Workplace Workshops include Management Essentials, Time Management, Problem Solving and Teambuilding. Project Management teaches the organization and leadership of complex innovations under the pressure of time constraints and quality requirements.

Elizabeth Westberg
Elizabeth has over fifteen years of experience in the pharmaceutical, information system design and development, and management consulting fields. Elizabeth is especially adept at organizing and implementing the deployment of MS Project on an enterprise wide basis. Her skills are: Organizational development, including strategic planning and employee performance management, Project Management and Communications/Negotiation/Mentoring including meeting management, team facilitation and business writing.
Rosemary Kane Kirby, MBA
Rosemary has developed project plans for multiple projects and has lead teams of over 30 people. She has tracked cost and schedule for many projects. She has consistently delivered the systems within budget and time frame for multiple projects. She is an accomplished MS Project user and has taught Project Management using MS Project for a number of years. She has specific experience in managing software development projects dealing with data warehousing, property management, general ledger, integrated voice response (IVR) and financial systems. The technical aspects of these roles included designing database management systems, building reporting systems with business intelligence tools and developing the technical specifications.
Donald MacIsaac, MBA, PMP

Don has over 16 years of software development experience, primarily in a Project Management role. His experience in software development has ranged across many architectures (Utowna b applications, data warehousing, client/server, green screen), infrastructures (mainframe, Unix, Windows) and databases (Oracle, DB2, SQLServer). He has successfully delivered many major applications on time and within budget and has managed teams composed of from 8 to 35 developers and consultants. He has been responsible for business case development, staffing, tracking and control for projects with budgets in excess of $5M. Donald is an MS Project expert and has spearheaded the introduction of Project Management tools and methods for software development at various companies. He spearheaded the implementation of CASE tools, software configuration management methods and defect management applications to support change management. Donald consults and teaches the following specialties: Software Engineering, Project Management and Software Development, Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence and Project Management with MS Project.
Dennis Carignan, PMP, MBA

Dennis has thirty years experience in procurement and Project Management holding many different positions. Dennis is currently a human development specialist at Biath Iron Works (BIW) where he implemented a three-module Project Management Training program. He also teaches for Maine Maritime Academy at BIW for the Shipbuilding Apprentice Program. He implemented earned value systems for the Department of Defense at eight major US companies, was a project manager for a cost estimating research team at The Analytical Systems Corp. (TASC) in Reading, MA, and was a matrix manager for over two hundred controller resources at the Air Force's Electronic Systems Procurement Division at Hanscom AFB, MA.
