Organizational Assessments

It only makes sense to invest in an organizational assessment before you invest in consulting, training or new systems. Utowna's inexpensive organizational assessment program is designed to give your firm a clear picture of where you stand in regards to Project Management maturity, quality and information systems maturity, and capabilities. However, Utowna’s assessment doesn't stop with an identification of your firm's current position; it lets you choose where you want to be and provides you with a roadmap to get there. The assessment can relate your choices to your senior management team's business objectives and can provide you with the organizational mechanism for change.

Project Management Maturity

Utowna’s survey is administered to a random sample of your management and line staff. The survey rates your company's planning, PM technical tool, communications, organizational design, and cost/schedule/quality trade off skills. After scoring the survey, Utowna can tell you what stage your firm is in and give you a choice of options to address only those issues you want addressed.

Information System Maturity

Utowna’s I/S assessment tools measure your PM aptitude in the I/S area or can be more global in scope and measure your maturity in terms of management controls, application portfolio, software platform status, I/S staff member skills, and functional staff member I/S awareness and literacy. Utowna’s assessment for moving you up the continuum will conclude with very practical, easily understood recommendations for new management controls, training or new hires, and/or new equipment and applications.

Quality Maturity

Utowna’s quality assessment device measures your leadership, information and analysis, strategic planning, human resource utilization, customer and market focus, process management and business results and then places you at one of four levels. Utowna’s plans spell out the capabilities you will acquire at each new level and explain in plain English their value to your corporation. This approach allows you to choose the plan of action that accomplishes your goals.
